SPRING OPTION BRAKE

Spring option electromagnetic brake are generally mounted easily on the back side of a motor and is a security equipment. To ensure the performance for break force the body and linings are produced with a special material. Since the stop of the break is provided through the spring no extra energy required.

WORKING CONDITION

Since the brake does not require any energy, with the help of magnetic field which pull the spring, make the flange to move to the body so the lining become independent due to the gap created. The output shaft will be released due to the thread on the lining so the wedge will release the shaft. When the magnetic energy is removed the spring will move the flange which the lining flange and the spring flange are moved to jam and make the shaft stop.

SPRING TYPE BRAKE

The brake is designed by AKPINAR MOTOR in order to have a controlled, safe and secure stop. Where there is no sudden stop requirement this system can be used with a high efficiency and security. In order to have a high lifetime of the break, the linings, coil body friction surfaces should be out of dirt, oil and dust.

PROPERITIES

Low braking torque is achievable for different type of power and motors. Breaks can work between 2.5 Nm and 30 Nm with 8 different breaking options which can work below 70 dB. Durable coil for 185 degrees. Long lifetime, high friction coefficient, Lining without asbestos In order to create maximum electromagnetic force the body is created with a special Zn coating. 24 V DC, 110 V DC and 220 V DC are the voltage ranges.
